Welcome to the Cawder Golf Club website.  It has been designed as a pro-active communication channel for members and visitors to keep them regularly informed on what is happening in and around Cawder in particular and Golf in general. It is by no means finite and we would welcome any suggestions from members which they feel would add further value to the information they can access.

Any suggestions should be emailed to the secretary@cawdergolfclub.co.uk and if necessary will be considered by committee at the first available opportunity.

    Preferred Lies

From Friday 9th May 2008 preferred lies are no longer in operation. The ball must be played as it lies.

    Fairway Protection Mats

As from Friday 4th April 2008 the use  of fairway protection mats on all closely mown areas is no longer required. As members and guests are acutely aware, however, growth on the fairways is extremely limited due to the current weather conditions and the club would ask everyone to be diligent in replacing all divots during this period.
